RSS reader

Use it to monitor RSS channels, download and read messages. Podcasts are also supported.

Magnifier

Use back camera to scan and magnify texts. Supports magnification, display modes provided by built-in camera, automatic and manual focusing and flashlight.

Location

Use GPSand Google maps to describe your current location. You can configure output to full address, city only,.... Information about current location is also on main screen. Current location information can be sent via SMS.

Game hangman

Well-known game where you can guess names of cities and villages. Choose one of 4 levels and play!

Things finder

Uses BeeNode devices to find lost things (keys, wallet,...). It is also possible to find the phone using small button on BeeNode device.

New feature or improvement: 
Licenses can be activated only via the internet, you have to be online during the activation process.
There is a new concept called license identifier which must be added when you activate license bound on phone number. More information can be found in user's guide.
It is now possible to Control Corvus special environment using different methods. There is new control by buttons method, combination of control by buttons and control by gestures methods, control by hardware keyboard method (works on devices with hardware keyboard) Besides well-known control by gestures method. More information in user's guide.
Corvus now supports visual themes. Review and activate them in environment settings.
We do not use animations in Corvus special environment for now.
Other visual tweaks, we saved some place on the screen by removing unneeded paddings, added some lines which makes user environment more clear.
It is now possible to set speech verbosity. There are beginner, advanced and custom profiles. Custom profile is configurable.
Corvus now emits short beep on screens where you can use context menu gesture to invoke functionality. Beeping can be disabled in verbosity settings.
There is a new item "Thank you" in help menu which contains references to our donors and supporters.
There is a new tool which lets you to add new Bluetooth devices in wireless connection settings.
List of events in register categories now contains spoken information about duration of the call.
The tagger application now supports also NFC tags. Check user's guide to get more information.
File manager application can now use external application to open files which are not supported by Corvus applications.
Music player application now supports playlists in m3u and m3u8 formats. Playlists can contain file paths and internet streams.
Download books application now allows you to choose format of the book if supported in particular library.
Download books application can now automatically extract zip archives after downloading. Option is configurable and is supported only in libraries containing books in zip format.
Improved satellites detection in sporting application.
Sporting application now supports USB Corvus tachometer to measure speed and distance.
Improved auto scrolling in screen reader.
Explore by touch in screen reader now works better and more accurate.
Shielding functionality is now available also in screen reader mode. Keep in mind that some functionality in android (e.g. installation of applications) may not work when shielding enabled due to the security reasons.
Screen reader now announces information about screen orientation changes.

Screen reader now properly announces changes of states (e.g. checked, not checked...).
Web browsing using Chrome was improved. It is now more fluent and responsive.
Corvus now supports Mozilla Firefox browser for Android.

Corvus now properly handles hold gestures in special environment. We use them only in magnifier for now. Check user's guide to find information how to use these gestures.
It is not necessary to restart the device after language changes in environment settings.
We improved memory management in this version of Corvus.
Corvus is now more adaptable to a particular device. Some features are available depending on the hardware you need.
We added some more symbols to button 1 of Corvus keyboard. You can now type \, $, = and other special characters.
Corvus now automatically saves current position during say all in book reader which eliminates problems caused by unexpected phone shutdowns caused by discharged battery on older phones.
Functionality or controll change: 
There is a new button on upper right corner of the screen, which can be used by partially sighted users to open context menu. This button is visible only when is the "enable back and menu buttons" option in keyboard options enabled.
The information about screen contents in edits (2-doubletouch) now contains also information about number of characters in edits. Use it to get info about number of typed characters e.g. when you write SMS.
The swipe to the left gesture in file manager now opens parent directory. use 1-swipe to the left to close file manager.
Press and hold 2-shift (volume down button) to go to the Corvus main screen. This gesture works only in special environment.
The standard gesture to delete item (1-2 fingers touch) is now used to delete items also in list of attachments when composing new mail and list of bookmarks in music player.
The settings application now contains new category named gestures. This category contains subitems collecting all settings related to gestures. All settings related to gestures in other categories was removed.
2-right swipe gesture used to reset TTS can now be used also to disable speech output. You have to enable it in MENU > SETTINGS > GESTURES > UNIVERSAL GESTURES. Speech output can be also disabled by default, see speech settings.
Corvus now asks standard question about item deletion if you try to delete account in e-mail application. You can also use standard gesture 2-2fingers touch to delete account.

Fixed a bug which caused a crash if user activated main-screen gesture configured to start android application which was already uninstalled.
